Post Graduate Diploma in TV Production (PGD-TVP) Leading to Masters

Introduction

The Post Graduate Diploma in TV Production is a one-year foundation programme which equips the students to study media at postgraduate level. It encompasses fundamentals of theoretical instruction and practical skills, which give them a chance to make quality TV productions following the industry standards and practices. It covers a broad scope of subjects that proves to remain useful even when you embark on your career.

Students, enrolled in this program, will have an option to get a post-graduate diploma or have an option to continue to complete MA programme in Media Production by spending another year of study within a time period of two years. Their credits earned for PGD will be transferred to MA Media Production. As a final requirement to complete the program, students will be undertaking a video project encompassing writing, directing and producing.

The diploma holders of the programme will have an opportunity to acquire detail production skills in a year in the following areas: writing, photography, set designing, visual communication, TV/ Drama production. They have chance to continue to masters.
