The Bachelor of Public Administration (BPA) program will prepare students to work in city management, policy analysis, human resource management, and Public Managements. Because of dual significance of Bachelor of Public Administration program over all the relevant existing courses, the graduates BPA are highly demanded and shortlisted by public and private sector. They get their place in international and national ventures in various fields like banking, pharmaceuticals, competitive exams, education, IT administration, FMCGs, telecommunication etc.

Purpose/Objectives of the Program

The Purpose of the program is to establish a solid foundation for the research and students should be seeking BS/Undergraduate level courses which broaden and deepen their knowledge in Public Administration discipline.

• To demonstrate the knowledge of the core mechanism of public administration
• To explain the core mechanisms of public management
• To present solutions to problems in the field of public management;
• To present different approaches to solving the problems;

To ground and argue solutions in the public administration literature

Indented outcomes of the Program

After degree students will be able to understand to 

• Evaluate and understand the basic theoretical and conceptual framework of administrative.
• Communicate and write clearly the as per the requirement of executives.
• Solve the issues suing different quantitative techniques
• Think critically concerning the different available interdisciplinary courses and disciplines.
• Analysis of managerial issues and policy recommendations
• Active in social & civic engagement

Components of the Program:

BS Public Administration is a minimum of 130 credit hours program and is open to students who have passed 12 years of education in any discipline. The degree would offer different areas of specialization for conceptual clarity and strategic understanding.

Thesis /Research Project: 6 Cr Hrs

• Exposure Visits

Assessment Criteria:

• Sessional and Mid Term = 60%
• End Term=40%

Admission Procedure:  The university will announce admission two times a year in spring and fall semester. The Student will get admission as per University Policy. The applicants have to submit application for admission which is available at admission office of the university. After scrutiny of the applications, the university will conduct admission test. Admission will be based on merit basis.
